Engagement Co-ordinator (Part Time) – 22 Hours per week

Salary: £14,865 (equivalent to £25,000 per annum for full time post)

Responsible To: Healthwatch Solihull Chief Officer

Healthwatch Solihull is the independent champion for local people’s voices in health and social care in Solihull.   From July 2017 this service will be delivered by Engaging Communities Staffordshire (ECS), a Community Interest Company that also delivers three other local Healthwatch services in the West Midlands.  ECS is now looking for an energetic, committed Engagement Co-ordinator, passionate about making a difference to the lives of people in Solihull by ensuring that health and care services are geared to their needs.

We aim to ensure that organisations work better together.  We put local communities at the heart of making decisions about their care by providing real insight and engagement solutions to our partners and giving the local community a very real and powerful voice to make change where needed.

We are now seeking the appointment of a high performing Engagement Co-ordinator, who can provide operational and strategic support to develop and lead large-scale community activities in line with Healthwatch Solihull’s strategic priorities.  This will include the development of the engagement strategy, volunteer base and Enter and View visits programme to support the work of Healthwatch in gathering and making known the views of people using health and social care services.
